Both Adam and I have been working very hard. Adam works 7 days a week every week, although, it's not necessarily serving. He is also doing other work at the restaurant, which I think I mentioned in previous messages. I have also been working every day to pick up extra hours. Every little bit helps...I guess. Lol. We miss seeing each other, as we often work opposite schedules, but it'll all be worth it in the end.
Noah is doing really well, although I think he may be going through the terrible twos a wee bit early. He's been throwing small and even big temper tantrums lately. Most of the time, it happens when we're out, which stinks because it means we pretty much can't go anywhere. We tried to go furniture shopping for a new couch and chair the other day and all Noah did was scream, run around, and try to knock over expensive things. *sigh* Oh well. We're working very hard on disciplining him and trying to help him understand good manners.
I'm working on uploading a video that shows you the cute side of our little guy. He's getting so big! I wish he was getting taller though. I feel so bad for him. People keeps saying he's really small for his age. :( Sometimes I feel like a bad parent. I feel like there's more that I should be doing, but I suppose I'll probably always feel that way a little. Hopefully I'll get it up and running by the next post.

Walking....no...running....
So I recently posted about Noah taking a few independent steps here and there. Ha ha....yeah. He is now walking on his own. He's still not at the point where he feels that walking is his preferred mode of transportation, but he's getting there. He also can't fully get up to a standing position from the floor without having something to support himself on, although, as quickly as he seems to be picking things up lately, I'm sure it won't be long.

Long Time No Blog :(
Well, friends and family, I am FINALLY updating the blog. We have been far too busy to even think about trying to formulate an entry. Noah is doing SO many fun things now that he's getting older. I can't believe he's going to be 13 months in a couple of weeks. Sometimes, I feel like we just brought him home...especially now that he's REALLY teething and crying off and on throughout the night.
Noah's recent developments:
*He's taking a few independent steps. He has a bit of a confidence issue when it comes to this, but if you distract him by having something that he wants, he practically runs at you.
*He's talking quite a bit. He's pretty much like a parrot at this point. If you ask him to say something, he will repeat it in what I have deemed "Noah language." Most of the time, it sounds very similar to the word you asked him to say and sometimes, he'll surprise you and repeat it perfectly. Things he repeats a lot: Mama, Dada, hot, duck, ball, bottle, bird....
*He has 7, almost 8 teeth now. Four on the top and 3 with one cutting through on the bottom right now. When he smiles, he looks a lot like Adam. :)
*He weighs about 24 1/2 lbs, which is a good weight for him at this point. What's humorous to me at this point is that he's in the 60th percentile for weight, but only the 8th percentile for height. Hello, have you seen his father? Poor kid. He's probably going to get my short genes.
Adam and I also had a little mini-vacation to Indianapolis. We had so much fun just the two of us. I had forgotten how much fun we used to have when we used to have more time to spend together. We stayed at a nice hotel, we rode a tandem bike, we went to see a Broadway show, etc... Thank the Lord for Grandmothers that watch your children while you go :)
